    Beware of your bikes size.

    The support rails are very wide. It fit one of our Trek’s but was too wide for my wife’s bike. Thule really needs to publish dimensions in the specs above so you can see if your bikes will fit.

    If you’ve got a wrangler and a bike chances are you’ve looked at this model a few times…..It looks fantastic, its simple to install, it incredibly durable, its relatively cheap

    Well design product. Sturdy. Hold my bike very well. Simple to install on my 02 CRV. Setting up and taking off is a snap, less than 5 mins. The price is a bit steep but it worth every penny.

    Brilliant bike rack. Very solid. Place it on my 2005 CRV, fits perfectly. It is nice that I can leave the rack on and still open the back cargo bay, both the door and the glass. Rack adjusts for offset mounted spare (like on the CRV), but still is not quite centered. That does not seem to be a problem. Bikes fit on just fine.

    Simple to install, Simple to operate, Excellent fit for CRV

    This bike rack was simple to install (see y-tube video on ‘how-to’ offset spare tire), no straps flying, secure (locks), stable, bike tires do not extend more a few inches of view (from each side mirror), does not block rear view. I am a female rider, Trek 800-size bike fits fantastic on this rack. Installed this spare tire mount bike rack on a Honda CRV (2006), with offset spare tire – bike is centered on the rear of vehicle, no problem. Fantastic solution to transport bike! Very pleased with the added biking adventures -away from home.

    We just got our first chance to use the bike carrier and it is a quality product. The bikes stayed place and arrived in fantastic condition. I followed the advice of a previous reviewer who stated that the first bike on should have the front wheel to the side that the spare tire favors. With our Honda CRV, the spare is to the right of center and that is the side for the front bike tire. I would also recommend you use the fabric strap included to secure bicycles. Bungie cords with coated hooks will also work.

    I have a Jeep Wrangler and this fit REALLY nicely and took me very small time/detail to install. Always make sure you strap the bike onto the wheel/rack with either the provided or other straps before leaving or it will ‘wander’ to the back of the rack in high speeds…but it never came off. Worth every penny and beats those ’strap-on’ varieties.

    This is a fantastic product if you don’t ever upgrade your tires to something larger than 32″.
